Well, today I got an email from an editor for a web magazine called Yellow Mama, and she said that she loved my story and that I had talent. She also said that she wished she could write like I do when she was my age, which was a huge, huge compliment.



She gave me a list of things to change (a rather lengthy list, but I don't blame her; I didn't have a writer friend check it before I sent the story,) and I'm going to correct it and send her the rewrite of her suggestions. I'm so happy, she said that she would love to use it for the magazine, and, it's not guaranteed (but she did say she liked it, but this will be my first official acception if she does accept it.)



All my hard work is starting to pay off, thank you all so much. I'll keep you updated.
